Welcome to Phoenix Tennis Club's home page. Phoenix is a very active and friendly tennis club. We play throughout the year on the eight hard courts owned by the Colchester Institute in Spring Lane, Colchester. The club has three sections as follows: The main club is open to all who are of a sufficient standard. You don't have to be a budding Henman or Henin to be a member of Phoenix (though you would be very welcome!) but you have to be able to play a reasonable club doubles game. Phoenix Rising is our adult coaching section for for beginners, returners, or those who want to improve their play up to a standard acceptable by mainstream clubs. All those attaining the required standard will automatically be offered membership of the main club. Juniors. New members are welcome for any of the sections.
