Happy New Year!

2010 proved an enjoyable year for tennis with club sessions being well attended and the amalgamation of Tuesday and Thursdays with Spring Lane proving successful. Our weekly club sessions will remain on Saturday afternoons and Tuesday/Thursday evenings.

Congratulations to our Mens A team for winning their league and getting promotion to the premier division.

It is now time to renew your membership which should be sent to Pam Harvey. An early renewal by the 8th February will be £60 which saves you £5.00. There is a pdf of the membership form which you can print and return.

Further details for the start of this season, including full details of playing arrangements, will be given in the next newsletter, which will be sent out in March, along with the new list of Members' e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.

Teams: We are hoping to enter 3 mens, 3 ladies and 3 mixed teams, as well as keeping our membership with the Friendly League so this will enable members to play some matches if they wish.
If you wish to play in any of the club teams please indicate this on the membership renewal form. If you would like to be considered as a regular team player and you are available on most home match nights which are Wednesdays and Monday nights, then TICK the appropriate box. If, however, you are not regularly available on home match nights or you feel that you can play only on a reserve basis then please write an R in the appropriate box. The team selection meeting will be held in mid-March (our first matches are usually mid-April) so please make sure that you have returned your form before mid-March if you want to play in a team.

Club Competitions: If you wish to play in any of our club competitions please indicate this on your membership form. All club competitions will run over the season. In order that we can give as much time as possible for the competition rounds, the draws will be made on 1st April or soon after.
